Can Jump+ Wireless Powerbank charge my MacBook?Updated a year ago
Jump+ Wireless Powerbank can be used to charge USB-C-powered laptops, but the output is limited to 18W (compared to 60W-98W with an original wall charger).
In practice, this means Jump+ could be used to charge a MacBook Pro 13” (2018 model) from 0 to 55% in approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes (The original wall charger takes approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes).
For your reference, when performing some internal testing, using a MacBook Pro 13" (2018 model) to work on applications such as mail, and Microsoft Office while plugged into Jump+, the laptop's battery lasted approximately 3 additional hours.
Please note that these results are for reference only, and may vary considerably depending on what kind of laptop used, battery age and health, the CPU/hardware load, room temperature, cable used, etc.
When charging a laptop, only use the USB-C output, do not use the USB-A output at the same time as this will considerably reduce the voltage and power available to the USB-C port.
