I am receiving a “iTunes could not connect to this iPad. You do not have permission” error message with my Belt Cable USB-C to USB-CUpdated a year ago

This problem is not related to the cable, but rather, a software issue (the same error occurs with the original Apple cable as well).  To fix it, please ensure you have updated your MacOS, Music App, and iPad iOS to the latest software versions.
