What are the detailed specs for Belt HDMI?Updated a year ago

HDMI 2.0, for 4K displays (resolution 3840 x 2160) at 60Hz (and 4096 x 2160 at 60Hz for extra-wide full-frame displays). HDR and DVI are supported.  All other smaller display resolutions are also fully supported. Higher-end displays with more than 4K resolution will work fine, but image quality will be limited to 4K max. 4K refers to 4 times 1028 screen resolution (which was common standard until recently) 8K is the latest TV resolution in prototype stage. In fact, this resolution does not provide an actual benefit for watching movies due to the limitations of the human eye.


Frame Rate/Hz: 

Normal frame for cinema movies are 24-30 frames per second.

For playing video games, 60Hz is recommended. Some screens can support even higher rates, but the difference becomes less noticeable above 60Hz. 


HDMI: High-Definition Multimedia Interface 

HDR: High Dynamic Range – Makes brighter images brighter and darker images darker. 

Compatibility: In general, the cable is expected to be compatible with ALL devices which have a USB-C AV (Audio/Video) output port, and all displays, screens or projectors with an HDMI input.
